You need to give permission, either by phone, email or in writing, before we can discuss your record with another person. Please remember that it can take up to five days for this permission to be actioned, depending on which method you use to notify us, and it is valid for different lengths of time.

If you notify us over the phone, permission will be activated instantly but will only be valid for five working days.

If you email us, it can take up to two working days to register permission (assuming you provided all the information we require) and it is valid for five working days from when your email is processed.

Permission provided by phone or email can only be given once per academic year.

If you write to us, it can take up to five working days from us receiving it for the permission to be activated but it is valid for the full academic year in which it is received.
