The VAT that is reimbursed will be at the current rate for the dispensing month, this is currently 20%.
We pay VAT to:
- appliance contractors
- GP practices for items classed as personally administered
We do not pay VAT to pharmacies.
A pharmacy would usually be VAT registered and would claim VAT back from HMRC.
