Prescriptions with a handwritten quantity are not considered an amendment.
Prescriptions would be reimbursed based on the prescribed quantity. This is unless the dispenser endorsement indicates a lesser quantity.
If an item name is stamped but extra information is handwritten, this does not need to be initialled and signed. This is not considered a hand amendment.
It will be processed and reimbursed.
