This will depend on if the prescribed item is a medicinal product or a medical device.

Pharmacies will always be paid for supplying a medicinal product on an FP10 prescription unless it's blacklisted, listed in Part XVIIIA of the Drug Tariff, or requires an additional endorsement that is not present.

Contractors will only be paid for supplying a medical device if it's listed in Part IX of the Drug Tariff.

A 'CE' or 'UKCA' marked medical device must be listed in Part IX of the Drug Tariff to be allowed on an FP10.

It must also be ordered by the prescriber as it appears in the Drug Tariff.
