What drugs and how many days supply can be prescribed on an FP10 MDA form in England?

The only preparations allowed on form FP10 MDA are:

• Schedule 2 Controlled Drugs
   
• Buprenorphine (Schedule 3)
   
• Buprenorphine / Naloxone (Schedule 3)
   
• Diazepam (Schedule 4)
   
• Diluents
   
• Water for Injection
   

Please note that Schedule 2 and 3 controlled drugs cannot be put onto a repeat prescription.

FP10 MDA forms can only provide a maximum of 14 days' supply. The prescriber must specify the number of instalments to be dispensed and the interval between each instalment.
