An exceptional event is sometimes known as 'Force Majeure'.
A provider is expected to plan for the delivery of their practice’s contracted activity level each financial year.
This includes planning for events that might affect the day-to-day delivery activity.
Relief can be considered if a practice experiences an unplanned event which affects their ability to achieve contracted activity levels.
