The easing, stoning, smoothing or adjustment of a restoration (filling / crown / bridge) soon after its placement (such as if the filling was high) would normally be considered as necessary aftercare and the submission of a further claim would not be appropriate.
If the patient returns with a problem at a time other than their usual recall attendance appointment and you alleviate the patient's symptoms by adjusting a restoration, then this would form part of an Urgent Course of Treatment.
