NHS England (NHSE) have asked NHS Dental Services to enforce paragraph 38 of the NHS General Dental Services Regulations and paragraph 39 of NHS Personal Dental Services Regulations, in relation to non orthodontic courses of treatment. These paragraphs relate to the submission of FP17s within two months of the date of completion.
Consequently, any non orthodontic Course of Treatment (CoT) received by NHS Dental Services, more than two months from the date of completion, will be processed and the patient charge collected deducted, but no Units of Dental Activity (UDA) will be awarded.
What allows you to disallow Units of Dental Activity (UDA) due to late submission?
