You should not continue to use an old practice stamp if you have a new practice address. Once a new Location ID is added to Compass the old Location ID becomes invalid, even if the contract number hasn’t changed. Any claims stamped with the old practice stamp but sent after the Location ID has been updated will be rejected.

When a new Location ID is added to a contract on Compass, a letter is issued automatically to notify the practice who can then request a new stamp.

The correct contract details should be hand-written on FP17 forms until the new stamp arrives
