The error message 'Trainer's tenure doesn't cover the entire Foundation Dentist period' means the end date for the Foundation Dentist (FD) Trainer on your contract doesn't match the end date held for the FD. 

For the error to appear, the FD Trainer's end date must be earlier than the FD's, you need to check the dates entered.

You won't be able to submit the contract for authorisation until the end dates for all FD Trainers attached to the contract are entered as either the exact date the FD's tenure ends or later.

If you're logged in as a Provider user on Compass, you need to contact your Integrated Care Board (ICB) to amend the FD Tenure / the FD Trainer's details.
