In January 2020, the Dentistry Report replaced the Vital Signs report. It's based on the Vital Signs report but differs as it's updated monthly for each contract.
The ‘Dentistry Report’ contains information to help providers, and their Commissioners (Integrated Care Board (ICB) / Local Health Board), monitor their contracts across four key areas:
- Access
- Activity
- Quality
- Finance

The Information Commissioners Office (ICO) ruled that information relating to the delivery of public services is in the public interest and therefore both the Vital Signs and the Dentistry Report are published on the NHS Information Services website.
