A refund cannot be claimed for any membership before 6 November 2011 unless on this date you had been in the NHS Pension Scheme for less than 2 years.  In this case, the normal refund regulations will apply.

You must complete a RF12 form.

Any membership from 7 November 2011 will be refunded automatically upon confirmation of your limited status.

Where a GDS or PDS contractor is a limited company, the dental practitioner shareholders must still have access to the NHS Pension Scheme.
