A refund cannot be claimed for any membership prior to 06 November 2011, unless on this date you had been in the NHS Pension Scheme for less than two years. In this case the normal refund regulations will apply and you must complete a RF12 form.

Any membership from 07 November 2011 will be refunded automatically upon confirmation of your limited status. To do this, please send your limited company certificate along with a covering letter notifying us of your change in status.

Where a GDS / PDS contractor is a limited company, the dental practitioner shareholders (meaning providers) should still have access to the NHS Pension Scheme.
