NHS dental treatment is available to all prisoners and people in young offender's institutions, this also applies if they are on day release.
Prisoners and people in a young offender's institutions are exempt from paying NHS dental charges and can make this declaration on the FP17 Patient Record form. This also includes Regulation 11.
