No, the Assessment Centre should only take into account the disability or disabilities which have been declared on your application and for which you have provided appropriate medical or diagnostic evidence.

The letter we send asking you to attend Needs Assessment will confirm the medical condition / specific learning difficulty for which the DSAs funding has been approved.

It is important that you show this letter to the needs assessor in advance of your assessment taking place.

In order to be assessed for further help due to a disability which was not declared on your initial application, you will need to submit another DSAs application and provide relevant medical evidence.

We will then contact you with details of what you will need to do in terms of being assessed for these.
