Can I continue to receive a bursary if I am repeating part of my course on a part-time basis?

Yes, but this has to be agreed by your Health Education England (HEE) Local Office and your university and there must be sufficient bursary funding available for us to continue your payments during the period in question. There is a limit to the amount of bursary we can administer to one student for the duration of their course. This is subject to a maximum of 12 additional months bursary funding in all cases.
 
If you are attending part time to repeat a module or modules then your bursary will be paid as a pro rata of your full time entitlement if it has been agreed by HEE (i.e. 50% attendance will be paid at 50% of the appropriate full time bursary rate). 
 
Please be aware that funding is not automatically approved for repeat periods and this is a matter for your university and the HEE.
