Employers with Pensions Online (POL)

If you receive an error message on POL which you need help with, email details of the error message to nhsbsa.pensionsemployers@nhsbsa.nhs.uk.
Incorrect reason for retirement or lump sum choice
You must email nhsbsa.pensionsemployers@nhsbsa.nhs.uk and attach the paper AW8.
Incorrect bank details
It’s not possible to change bank account details on POL once they’re provided.
Ask the employee to write to NHS Pensions with the correct details including their:
- bank sort code
- bank account number
- full address
If a change is made once pension benefits are in payment, this can take up to 12 months to complete.
