It is not possible to opt out of the service. The statement (full or individual elements) can however be hidden from view either by your employer or via a request to the TRS helpdesk.

Directions made by the Health Secretary for England and by the Welsh Minister for Health and Social Services mean that the NHSBSA must legally provide a Total Reward Statement to NHS employees with an Electronic Staff Record. An Annual Benefit Statement will be provided to all other NHS employees.
