Why is my assessment only provisional?

Your Notification of Award (NOA) will be issued with a provisional award only until we've received confirmation of your attendance and whether you've been nominated for capped bursary place.
 
Once we've received both of these we'll send you a final NOA.

 
Postgraduate students only
 
We'll also provisionally assess your entitlement if your award has been based on estimated income.
 
The first two instalments can be paid to you based on this estimate, however, we'll hold your third instalment until we've received and processed evidence of income.
 
If you've been assessed provisionally your NOA will confirm this and advise of the evidence we need.
