Pharmacy contractors are paid a 100% advance based on their declared submission totals and their most recent average item value.
Your advance will be calculated as follows:
- Average item value of the previous month (shown on the same Schedule of Payments)
- Multiplied by number of declared items for the month

For new pharmacies receiving their first advance, the National Average net ingredient cost is used in the above calculation.
