If your practice is classed as prescribing only or non-dispensing, you will not be able to claim reimbursement for supplying Nexplanon (formerly Implanon) implants as they are not listed in the GMS Statement of Entitlement as personally administered.

If you wish to administer it to a patient, you would need to issue an FP10 prescription for the implant, which the patient would need to take to a pharmacy before the appointment to have it dispensed, ready to be fitted.

An alternative would be to speak to your Sub ICB Location (SICBL) to see if there are any local budgets or scheme which will reimburse the Nexplanon implants.
