If you have an English or a British Forces Post Office (BFPO) address and are registered with a GP in England, you can buy a PPC.

A PPC can only be used for English NHS prescriptions.

NHS prescriptions are free of charge in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

If you live in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland but are staying in England for a period of time, you'll receive English prescriptions.

You can apply for a PPC using an English address.

Alternatively, you must pay unless you have a valid exemption.
