  • Band 1: £26.80
  • Band 2: £73.50
  • Band 3: £319.10
  • Emergency dental treatment: £26.80
  • Regulation 11 replacement NHS dental appliances: £95.70 for one appliance or £191.40 for 2

Before 1 April 2024, the NHS dental charges were:

  • Band 1: £25.80
  • Band 2: £70.70
  • Band 3: £306.80
  • Emergency dental treatment: £25.80
  • Regulation 11 replacement NHS dental appliances: £92 for one appliance or £184 for 2

Sight test: £23.53

Sight test conducted in your home: £64.33

Optical voucher values

Your optician will advise based on the strength of your optical prescription which voucher you're entitled to receive.

Single vision

  • Voucher A - £42.40
  • Voucher B - £64.26
  • Voucher C - £94.14
  • Voucher D - £212.40

Bifocal and varifocal vouchers

  • Voucher E - £73.10
  • Voucher F - £92.72
  • Voucher G - £120.48
  • Voucher H - £233.56

Hospital eye service vouchers

  • Voucher I - £217.58
  • Voucher J - £61.77 per lens

Complex vouchers

  • Single vision - £15.81
  • Bifocal - £40.57

You can be prescribed either:

  • one optical voucher for bifocals or varifocals
  • 2 single optical vouchers to cover a pair of reading glasses and a pair of distance glasses

You must discuss which of these options is appropriate for you with your optician. 

Wigs and fabric supports

Current NHS wigs costs:

  • Stock modacrylic wig - £80.15
  • Partial human hair wig -£212.35
  • Full made to order human hair wig - £310.55

Current NHS fabric supports costs:

  • Abdominal support or spinal support - £49.05
  • Surgical brassiere - £32.50
  • Support stockings each - £9.35
  • Support stockings per pair, only available from hospitals - £18.70
