GP Locum work which is not pensionable includes:
- work that’s been arranged and paid through a third party
- private non-NHS work performed on behalf of a GP or an out of hours provider
- working a long-term fee based arrangement (longer than 6 months) where the GP Locum chose to be a Type 2 Practitioner for pension purposes
- a GP Provider working as a GP Locum in their own practice
- GP Locum work performed more than 10 weeks ago
