All employers, by law, must automatically enrol eligible employees into a pension scheme every 3 years.
You’ll be auto-enrolled if you:
- are not already in a qualifying workplace pension scheme
- are aged 22 or over
- are under State Pension age
- earn more than the minimum amount set by Parliament
- usually work in the UK
If you’re a self-employed practitioner, you'll not automatically be enrolled into the NHS Pension Scheme.
