Contact the General Register Office for a copy of a:
- birth certificate
- marriage certificate
- civil partnership certificate
- death certificate
Applications for copies of certificates must be made to the register office in the district where it took place if the:
- birth or death was registered within the last 6 months
- marriage was registered within the last 18 months
Final order or decree absolute
Contact the court where the divorce or dissolution was granted.
