All requests must be emailed to the HR Shared Services (HRSS) Query team or by responding to a Trac communication from your outlook account in relation to the specific vacancy.
If the request is urgent, it can be followed up with a phone call.
Who can make a request to close a vacancy early?
HRSS can accept a request to close a vacancy from the following:
- The Recruiting Manager (RM).
- A named Delegate for the RM.
- The Business Services Authority's (BSA) Corporate HR team.
Can an advert be closed automatically if it reaches a certain volume of candidates?
No, there is no functionality in Trac or NHS Jobs to cap the volume of applications.
If the vacancy needs to be closed early due to the volume of applications, one of the above-named people will need to email the HRSS Query team or respond to a Trac communication from their Outlook account in relation to the specific vacancy.
