HR Shared Services (HRSS) will chase any outstanding checks by email every five working days. The RM will be copied into these emails to ensure they are aware what pre-employment checks are outstanding for their candidate.

The chases will take place;

  • Five working days after the Offer letter was sent. This is classed as the 1st weekly pre-employment check chase.

  • 10 working days after the Offer letter was sent. This is classed as the 2nd weekly pre-employment check chase.

  • 15 working days after the Offer letter was sent. HRSS will escalate this to the RM at this stage and advise them to have a discussion with the Corporate HR team on how to proceed with the recruitment.

The RM can also support the process during any scheduled contact with the successful candidate.
