Yes, for the purpose of checking a person's Identity (ID), all legal documentary evidence which has an issue date, such as a passport or driving licence, must be valid and current.

Due to candidates being asked to bring valid documentation to their Interview, as long as the document is in date at the time of Interview, they will still be accepted.

For example, if the Interview was held on 1 October 2020, the document provided expired on the 5 October and the documents weren’t processed until after the 5 October, this document could still be accepted as it was valid at the point of Interview.
