When a start date is changed, the Recruiting Manager (RM) must send an email to HR Shared Services (HRSS) with the new start date.

If the candidate has not yet started but a Contract has been issued, HRSS will amend the Contract and reissue this to the candidate. The RM should complete a New Employee Starter Form (NESF) with the candidate on or before their first day and arrange for it to be uploaded to the Document Transfer Service (DTS).

Where a candidate's Electronic Staff Record (ESR) has been updated to 'Employee' an Employee Change Form (ECF) would need to be uploaded to the DTS so that the start date on ESR can be amended.
