You’ll receive an email if the employer offers you an interview using the NHS Jobs service.

To respond to the invitation, sign into your account and select 'Respond to interview'.

When responding to an interview you can:

  • confirm the date and time you can attend
  • decline the invitation
  • request a new slot.

This section of your account will also show you information about what to expect at the interview, for example tests or presentations.

To request a new slot, select 'I want to attend but can't make any of the dates or time provided'. Some employers may not allow you to request a new slot.

You need to choose a date and time for your interview by 12pm 2 days before the interview date shown. We recommend to respond as soon as possible to avoid losing your preferred choice.

When choosing an interview slot, the contact details for the employer are shown. if there isn't a suitable interview slot or it is full, do not decline the invitation until you have contacted the employer first. You can contact the employer if you need to discuss anything about the interview or if you're unable to attend.

When you’ve selected an interview slot you will then be asked if you have any special requirements.
