You're not automatically entitled to receive help with your health costs if you get, or are included in an award of someone getting:
- Contribution-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
- Contribution-based Employment Support Allowance (ESA)
- Tax Credits unless you hold a valid NHS Tax Credit Exemption certificate (TAX)
- Pension Credit Savings Credit
- Universal Credit if you do not meet the qualifying criteria
- Incapacity Benefit
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Attendance Allowance (AA)
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- New Enterprise Allowance (NEA)
- Carer's Allowance
- Any type of pension.
