If a PPC holder is admitted to hospital, they can claim a refund if the PPC expires while they were in hospital.
The refund must be claimed within 3 months of their PPC expiring.
If the PPC holder leaves hospital before their PPC expires, we cannot issue a refund or extend their PPC.
