If you’ve received an overpayment letter and need to make a repayment, you can make payment:
- online using a credit or debit card
- by Bacs (Bankers Automated Clearing System) transfer from your bank account
- by cheque.
Bacs transfer
The bank account details to send the payment to are included on the invoice sent with the overpayment letter.
You must include the SD number as the reference.
Cheque
The overpayment letter will confirm if the cheque needs to be sent to NHS Pensions or NHS Injury Benefits.
