Members of the NHS Pension Scheme will be contacted by text message for:
- complaints
- refund queries
- nomination requests
- awards processed on Pensions Online (POL)
- pensions on divorce queries
- ill health queries
The text message will be sent from ‘NHSBSA’.
You’ll receive a text message acknowledgment to confirm your query has been received. 2 further text messages will be sent to update you while the query is being processed and once it’s been dealt with.
If your query is about your award, you’ll receive one text message acknowledgement to confirm we’ve received your POL award application.
You’ll never be asked to:
- dial a premium rate number
- make a payment
- provide your bank details
- provide any other personal information such as social media identities or login details
