If you're applying for a postgraduate Social Work Bursary you do not need to declare any of your own expenses.
You must declare expenses for your spouse, partner or civil partner. We’ll deduct these from the income used to calculate your bursary.
The expenses you must declare for your spouse, partner or civil partner are:
- private pension contributions
- employee pension contributions
- additional voluntary pension contributions
- any other expenses connected with employment, if allowable for tax purposes
Adult Dependant
If you have an adult who is dependent on you and they receive an income, you must declare their:
- Income Tax
- National Insurance contributions
- pension contributions
