Change of Address
You must login to your MyFunding account and change the details using the option on the 'Personal Details' page.
We cannot accept this information by telephone or email.
You must complete the form yourself online.
You'll receive an email when this change has been confirmed.
If you're a postgraduate student and have a change in your living arrangements that may affect your award, you must complete the Change of Circumstances application in your MyFunding account. You must upload evidence of your change and any income or expenses that were not previously supplied.
We'll reassess your entitlement within 20 working days and notify you of the outcome by email.
We'll contact you if we need any further information or evidence from you.
Change of name
If you've changed your name, you must complete a Change of Circumstances application in your MyFunding account.
You must also upload a covering letter explaining the change and either your:
- marriage certificate
- civil partnership certificate
- Decree Nisi or Absolute for divorce
- Deed Poll certificate
You must update your details in your MyFunding account using the 'Edit' button in the Personal Details' section.
Make sure your university is aware of your current name. This is because your university or college may need to send us details regarding your course. We must hold the same name as they do so we can match this information to your record.

Change of bank details
To change your bank or building society account details, login to your MyFunding account and change the details using the option on the 'Personal Details' page.
We cannot accept this information by telephone or email.
You must complete the form yourself online.
You must make sure you change your details no later than the Friday before a payment is due to be paid to you to make sure it’s paid into the new account.
If you update your bank details after the Friday before a payment is due to be paid, the payment will be made to your old account.
