If you need a change to be made to your current DSA award, contact the Assessment Centre which carried out your Needs Assessment.
They'll email dsa@nhsbsa.nhs.uk to request changes to your support.
If you need additional non-medical help (NMH), you must discuss this with your non-medical helper first.
Any requests we receive for additional DSA funding will be considered within 20 working days after discussion with your non-medical helper and the Assessment Centre.
Assessment Centre closed
If your original Assessment Centre has closed, your university’s disability advisor can provide updated quotes for NMH and course related travel costs.
The disability advisor cannot:
- request additional support that was not awarded on the original NAR
- quote for specialist equipment costs
If these are required, you must complete a new needs assessment at a registered Assessment Centre.
