Once an application is approved, the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) will make payment by the UK Visa and Immigration Service (UKVI) portal.

The payment can take 28 days to reach the original payment method used to pay the IHS.

The original payment method may be:

  • a personal account, such as a bank debit or credit card
  • a third party’s account, such as a friend, family, or agent
  • a digital payment method, such as PayPal
  • a prepayment card

Payment not received

If you've not received your payment after 28 days, contact your original method of payment.
