If you're eligible, you can apply for a reimbursement 6 months after paying the IHS.
You can apply for one 6-month period at a time starting on or after 31 March 2020. The 6-month period must fall fully within the dates of your IHS.
You can only claim for each IHS period once.
Returning applicants
When you enter your National Insurance number, the online portal will check to see if a previous claim has been made in the last 6 months.
If a previous claim is found, you'll receive a message with the earliest date you can make another claim.
This check is also made when you give the start date for your new claim period.
