You must tell us within 12 weeks of your expected due date.
It's your responsibility to tell us when your child is born to make sure you get the correct NHS Healthy Start payments.
To add your child to your NHS Healthy Start claim:
- update the details online if you receive Universal Credit (UC) - the child must be named and verified on your UC award with the correct details
- send us a copy of your child’s birth certificate to healthystartsupport@nhsbsa.nhs.uk if you receive any other benefit or are under age 18
- email healthystartNRPF@nhsbsa.nhs.uk if you have no recourse to public funds (NRPF)
