The restorations covered from the completion date of the original one being fitted include:
- fillings
- root fillings
- inlays or onlays
- porcelain veneers
- crowns
- bridges
- dentures
If an extraction is necessary as the treatment given under warranty failed, this is also covered under warranty.
Temporary fillings cannot be claimed under warranty as they're not used to be permanent.
The length of the warranty depends on the type of treatment originally carried out. Treatment can be under warranty for up to:
- 24 months from the date of completion for routine treatment
- 12 months from the date of completion for urgent treatment - this is limited as only fillings and root fillings can be claimed alongside an urgent care package
The dental practice is responsible for any laboratory fees generated from the replacement of any items under warranty.
When items under warranty are replaced, no treatment or laboratory fee will be counted towards the contract’s metrics.
