The Cash Equivalent Transfer Value (CETV) is a capitalised value of a pension. This is normally requested for Divorce or Dissolution of a Civil Partnership, Financial or Transfer Out purposes.
There are different forms to complete depending on the reason you need the CETV.
If you need a CETV for Divorce or Dissolution of a Civil Partnership, you must request this by completing the PD1 form. You must also ask your employer to complete the PD2 form, unless you are a deferred member or already receiving your pension.

If you need a CETV for transfer out purposes, or for financial of information purposes only, you must request this by completing a Transfer out guide and application pack.
There are separate forms for UK based transfers out and overseas transfers out. If you need the CETV for financial or information purposes only, complete the UK based form and indicate that the receiving scheme is not known.
