We can accept a:
- letter from a professional person who is able to independently verify the circumstances
- Tax Credit award notice showing you're paid as a single person
- Council Tax letter showing a single occupancy discount - 'N' or 'Student discount' band does not prove single occupancy
- Decree Absolute or Final Order
- legal separation document
This evidence can also be uploaded to prove your parent is single.
Where possible, the document must show the date of separation.
Failure to provide any of the relevant evidence will result in the assessment of your application being delayed.
