Can I claim a refund of NHS prescription charges with my Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC)?

You can claim a refund if you paid for an NHS prescription while your PPC was valid.

Your PPC must cover the date the charge was paid and you must claim your refund within 3 months of payment.

To claim a refund, you must have collected an FP57 refund receipt at the time the charges were paid.

Take your FP57 and PPC to any community pharmacy to collect your refund. The pharmacy will refund you directly.
