The Scheme is a Career Average Revalued Earnings (CARE) scheme. You earn a pension based on each Scheme year's actual earnings.

Ill health, redundancy or actuarially reduced early retirement (ARER)
We'll make an estimated projection based on your current pensionable earnings until your intended retirement date if it's within 12 months of the calculation date.
Both NHS Pensions and employers are unable to provide 2015 Scheme estimates until after the end of the members first Scheme year ending 31 March.
