Once you’re receiving your NHS pension, we’ll send you a P60 every year normally by the end of May.

A P60 includes information about the amount of pension you’ve received and the tax deducted during the tax year.

You'll also receive:

You'll get a separate P60 if you receive:

  • scheme pays compensation
  • injury benefits 
  • a dependent pension
  • pension credit

If you’ve not received your latest P60 by June or need to request a copy, contact our helpdesk.

A P60 is only issued for the UK tax year. If you live in a country with a different tax year, you can request a letter confirming your statement of earnings and tax paid for a different period. You must submit your request by email or post.
