The EU countries are:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
If you’re a UK citizen, you’re automatically entitled to state healthcare in the Republic of Ireland on the same basis as an Irish citizen. An applicant can show the treatment facility proof of their residency, such as a driving licence or passport.
These certificates are not a replacement for private travel insurance.
