Dynamising only applies to Practitioner pensionable pay in the 1995 or 2008 Section.

The dynamising process dynamises the practitioner pensionable pay earned in each year except the final pension year. This is done by applying an annual factor.

The total uprated practitioner pensionable pay is increased further by a monthly factor depending on the month of retirement.

The practitioner pensionable pay in the final year is not dynamised.

If you have a Total Reward Statement (TRS) available, you’ll have a copy of the dynamising included. This will show the practitioner pensionable pay and the relevant dynamising factor applied for each year of practitioner membership in the 1995 or 2008 section.

If you do not have a TRS available, a copy of the dynamising will be provided with any manual estimate produced.
