If you're having problems registering for My NHS Pension, follow this guidance for:
- entering your registration and personal ID codes
- submitting your known facts information
- using an accepted email address
- setting up two-factor authentication (2FA)
If you're having problems creating a username or password, check the criteria:
Username
Your username must:
- be more than 6 characters
- not include symbols
- be a maximum of 15 characters
If a username is already in use, it will be rejected, as it must be unique.
Password
Your password must:
- be at least 12 characters long
- be upper or lower case letters
- not include symbols
- not include numbers
